Excuse us while we start this post off with the cliché-est of all clichés.
Time is flying by!
A couple of weeks ago, Aurora mentioned the idea of posting a celebratory six-month birthday photo. Unfortunately, we missed it by a couple of months!
I’d like to think that’s a good sign. Gone are the days of watching the clock tick by at painfully boring work shifts. Instead, we’re so pleasantly caught up in and distracted by work that we usually don’t even know what day of the week it is. Let’s just say, that is a real first for both of us.
Since our last post in early October, we’ve done work for three new clients, while continuing to work for Ray Brothers Barbeque, Gilligan’s, and the Hamilton Movie Theater. We expanded from working solely on social media to designing in-house assets for our clients, most excitingly creating a top-to-bottom aesthetic for the newly opened Hamilton Inn. And we’ve continued to chip away at those less exciting but equally important behind-the-scenes components: client contracts, financial records, our LLC status and more.
In news less related to work, but made possible by work, Caity headed to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. Aurora visited Maine and Connecticut, road tripped to Florida, and achieved her dream of feeding a bird out of her hand.
These donkeys came into our lives. (Ugh, no, we don’t own them, but we wish!)
Not that nurturing our fledgling business has been all fun and games. We’ve had our fair share of challenges as well, but nothing that’s made us feel as though SPS was a mistake, and nothing that’s made us wish we were anywhere else, doing anything else.
So happy six-months-plus-two-months-and-change birthday, SPS! We <3 you.
Peace, love and baby donkeys,
Caity & Aurora
